Notes

shake the dust off your feet: Using a symbol of rejection, they were to leave such a town to the judgment it deserved.

Jesus now sent his 12 disciples to announce the kingdom of God and demonstrate its authority by casting out demons and healing the sick. Jesus was training them to carry on his work after he was gone.
