As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the Lord; My spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed’s seed, saith the Lord, from henceforth and for ever.

“And Me, this is My covenant with them,” says YHWH. “My Spirit who is upon you, and My words that I have put in your mouth, they will not depart from your mouth and from the mouth of your seed, and from the mouth of the seed of your seed, says YHWH, from now and even to forever.”

Notes

The new community members have the Spirit and follow God's word (see also Ezekiel 36:24–28). The Lord promises to renew the children through his Spirit. He will bring them into a covenant of obedience and love for the Lord (Joel 2:28; Acts 2:39).
