On that day did the king Ahasuerus give the house of Haman the Jews’ enemy unto Esther the queen. And Mordecai came before the king; for Esther had told what he was unto her.

Notes

Haman had promised the wealth of the Jews to those who would kill them (Esther 3:13). In contrast, King Xerxes gave Haman's property, the enemy of the Jews, to Queen Esther.
