David achieved great things because of God's will, not his own ambition.
You have accomplished: David spoke about what God promised to do for his descendants over many generations as if it had already happened. This shows David’s firm trust in God’s faithfulness.
David responded with prayer to God’s promise that his family would rule as kings for many generations. In his prayer, he repeatedly acknowledged that God alone is the true king and Sovereign Lord.
David was not happy just making a tent for the ark (2 Samuel 6:17). He wanted to build a house for God.
