Therefore, my brothers, you also died to the law through the body of Christ, that you might belong to another, to Him who was raised from the dead, in order that we might bear fruit to God.

Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.

Likewise, my brothers, you also have been put to death to the law through the body of Christ, for you to become unto another, unto the One having been raised out from the dead, so that we should bear fruit to God.

Notes

died to the law: This means they are no longer bound by it. Paul often describes the law of Moses as representing the old system of sin and death. However, through their union with Christ in his death, Christians are set free.
