Notes

Despite his busy ministry, Jesus made time to pray (6:46; 14:32–39). Mark emphasizes how important prayer was in the life of Jesus (see also Luke 3:21; 6:12; 9:18, 28–29; 11:1–4; 18:1; 22:32).
