But the LORD is with me like a fearsome warrior. Therefore, my persecutors will stumble and will not prevail. Since they have not succeeded, they will be utterly put to shame, with an everlasting disgrace that will never be forgotten.
Traditional
But the Lord is with me as a mighty terrible one: therefore my persecutors shall stumble, and they shall not prevail: they shall be greatly ashamed; for they shall not prosper: their everlasting confusion shall never be forgotten.
Literal
And YHWH is with me as a mighty awesome one! For thus my pursuers will stumble, and will not prevail. They will be greatly ashamed; indeed they will not succeed—everlasting disgrace will not be forgotten.
Latin
Dominus autem mecum est, quasi bellator fortis: idcirco qui persequuntur me cadent, et infirmi erunt: confundentur vehementer, quia non intellexerunt opprobrium sempiternum, quod numquam delebitur.

Notes

Jeremiah realized that God was like a powerful warrior by his side. Jeremiah's enemies were at a disadvantage and would completely fail.
