I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.

I will rejoice greatly in YHWH; my soul will be joyful in my God; for He has clothed me in the garments of salvation, and with the robe of righteousness He has covered me, like the bridegroom putting on a priestly headdress, and like the bride adorning herself with her jewels.

garments of salvation … robe of righteousness: God will joyfully clothe his people with the gifts of salvation and righteousness (see Isaiah 51:5; 56:1), like a bridegroom or a bride (see 49:18; 62:5; Jeremiah 2:32; 7:34; 16:9; 25:10; 33:11).
