But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

But as you share in the sufferings of Christ, rejoice, so that also in the revelation of His glory you may rejoice, exulting.

Notes

Christians are called to suffer with Christ in order to be glorified with him (see also Romans 8:17).
