Hardship

Consider it pure joy, my brothers, when you encounter trials of many kinds, …

If the world hates you, understand that it hated Me first. …

But rejoice that you share in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed at the revelation of His glory.

Join me in suffering, like a good soldier of Christ Jesus.

And we know that God works all things together for the good of those who love Him, who are called according to His purpose.

For everything that was written in the past was written for our instruction, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures, we might have hope.

Indeed, all who desire to live godly lives in Christ Jesus will be persecuted,

The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears; He delivers them from all their troubles. …

Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love Him.

I have told you these things so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take courage; I have overcome the world!”
