Write: In the vision, God instructs John on what to do for him (see Isaiah 6:9–10). This vision aims to help the church understand the present and future from God's viewpoint (Revelation 1:20).
John's first vision shows Christ as a wise, strong, and powerful messenger of God who always cares for his people.
