Notes
like that of a wild ox: The Lord allows the psalmist to express his joy (Psalm 92:8). Because of this, the psalmist is strong and will overcome his enemies.
The glory of the Lord is the reason the poet receives new strength and honor. It is also the reason the enemy will soon be defeated.
This psalm begins with thanksgiving and praise. The Lord, the Most High, is fair and just in judging the godly and the wicked. The godly will have a bright and strong future, while the wicked will die.
Wise people see and understand the Lord's actions, which show his justice (Psalm 92:6–7, 11, 15). The wicked, like grass, are quickly destroyed (Psalm 92:7–10).
