Notes

Paul quotes this verse in his instructions about generous giving (2 Corinthians 9:9).

This psalm repeats the themes of wisdom and the fear of the Lord (Psalm 111). Wise people have reasons to be happy (Psalm 112:1–5) and strong (112:6–10).

The word Hallelujah! is repeated throughout this group of psalms.
