All my bones will exclaim, “Who is like You, O LORD, who delivers the afflicted from the aggressor, the poor and needy from the robber?”
Notes
Nothing in the universe can compare with the Lord (see Psalms 86:8; 89:6, 8; Isaiah 40:18, 25).
The psalmist desires the Lord's salvation. The language may seem harsh, but it comes from a wish for justice and for the Lord to help the needy and oppressed.
In this lament, the Lord's troubled servant asks God to notice his situation and defend him.
