A Prayer of the afflicted, when he is overwhelmed, and poureth out his complaint before the Lord. Hear my prayer, O Lord, and let my cry come unto thee.

A Prayer of one afflicted, when he grows weak and pours out his complaint before YHWH. O YHWH, may You hear my prayer and may my cry come to You!
Latin

Notes

The psalmist asks the Lord not to turn away (or hide your face). Israel experienced God turning his face away when they were exiled.

A weak and suffering person prays for the Lord's mercy on Jerusalem and for his presence with its people.
