Notes

Did you not know that I had to be in My Father’s house?: Jesus knew his most important relationship was with his Father in heaven.

Jesus visiting Jerusalem at age 12 is the only story from his childhood in the gospels. The main theme is his early spiritual insight. This includes how he is increasingly aware of his special relationship with God and his unique mission.
