Notes

I am the LORD (see Leviticus 18:2): These words divide chapter 19 into short, strong sections (19:3, 4, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 25, 28, 30, 31, 34, 36, 37). Each use reminded Israel why they must obey God's rules.
