Therefore they were saying to Him, “Where is Your Father?” Jesus answered, “You know neither Me nor My Father. If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also.”

Notes
Throughout the feast, those listening to Jesus proved they were in darkness as they misunderstood him. They wanted to meet the father of Jesus, who is God. Since they did not truly know God, they were unable to understand Jesus.
