Notes

The righteous see it and are glad: Those in a right relationship with God will be glad to see justice done and wrong things made right (see also Psalm 58:10–11; Revelation 19:1–4). Eliphaz's perspective overlooked God's wish "that the wicked should turn from their ways and live" (see Ezekiel 33:11).
