Therefore hear the plans that the LORD has drawn up against Edom and the strategies He has devised against the people of Teman: Surely the little ones of the flock will be dragged away; certainly their pasture will be made desolate because of them.
Traditional
Therefore hear the counsel of the Lord, that he hath taken against Edom; and his purposes, that he hath purposed against the inhabitants of Teman: Surely the least of the flock shall draw them out: surely he shall make their habitations desolate with them.
Literal
Therefore hear the counsel of YHWH that He has counseled regarding Edom, and His plans that He has planned regarding those dwelling in Teman: Surely they will not drag them out, even the little ones of the flock; surely will not their own pastures be appalled over them?

Notes

The cup of judgment represented the fulfillment of the Lord's commands (see Jeremiah 25:15–17). This part clearly shows what happens after a nation drinks from that cup.

The people of Edom were descendants of Esau, Jacob’s brother (Genesis 32:3). Edom was located south of Moab, in the highlands east of the Arabah Valley. The divine Judge held every nation accountable.
