Yet ye have not hearkened unto me, saith the Lord; that ye might provoke me to anger with the works of your hands to your own hurt.
Literal
‘And you have not listened to Me,’ a declaration of YHWH, ‘So you have provoked Me to anger by the works of your hands, to bring evil to yourselves.

Et non audistis me, dicit Dominus, ut me ad iracundiam provocaretis in operibus manuum vestrarum, in malum vestrum.

Notes

The people ignored the Lord's rules and continued their evil ways by worshiping idols. As a result, the Lord decided to destroy them completely.

The Lord had been patient with Jerusalem's rebellion and refusal to listen, but now it was time for judgment.
