Notes

Gallio’s ruling indicated that the charges against Paul were unjustified. The Roman government had nothing to fear from acknowledging Christianity as a legal religion.

Paul spent 18 productive months preaching and teaching in Corinth. He started in the synagogue and then moved next door to the house of Titius Justus (18:1–11). Then Paul won an important case in court against his opponents (18:12–17).
