Notes
Those who believe in Christ live in God, and God lives in them. The Father and the Son share this close fellowship (John 10:38; 14:10; 17:21). Christians receive this same gift of fellowship with God, which is a special privilege (see John 14:20; 15:5; 17:21–24).
John explains where a Christian’s love comes from and how it is shown in daily life.
