Notes

Foolish people reject wisdom and goodness while they chase after evil.

This lament contrasts the foolish world made by the wicked with the wise world created and maintained by the Lord. The wicked care only about themselves, while the Lord cares for all creation. He will step in to bring justice to his world. The righteous will enjoy his protection, but the wicked will die.
