Notes
The sanctuary represented the visible presence of the Lord (see Psalm 18:6).
The psalmist demonstrates his loyalty to the Lord through pious rituals, praise, and acknowledgment of the Lord’s presence in the temple.
In this personal lament, the psalmist prays for redemption because of his innocence and the Lord's justice.
