Psalm 13

How Long, O LORD?

¹For the one directing. A Psalm of David. Until when, O YHWH? Will You forget me forever? Until when will You hide Your face from me?

²Until when shall I set counsel in my soul, and sorrow in my heart daily? Until when will my enemy be raised high over me?

³Look attentively; answer me, O YHWH my God! Give light to my eyes, lest I sleep in death,

⁴lest my enemy say, “I have prevailed against him.” My adversaries rejoice because I am shaken.

⁵Yet I have trusted in Your loving devotion; My heart will rejoice in Your salvation.

⁶I will sing to YHWH, because He has dealt bountifully with me.
