Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.

Your people are freewill offerings in the day of your might, in the splendors of holiness; from the womb of the morning, the dew of your youth is unto you.

Notes

The kingdom will expand and increase, beginning from Jerusalem, until all enemies are conquered.

Jesus and the apostles quote this psalm to explain the unique role and authority of Jesus as the Messiah (Matthew 22:43–45; Acts 2:32–36). The psalm also confirms God’s covenant with David. It gives hope that God will fulfill his promise in the future (see 2 Samuel 7:8–16).
