Notes

none … stumbled: The Lord protected all of his people (compare Psalm 9:3).

The exodus and the conquest of Canaan fulfilled God's promise to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob (Psalm 105:9–10). Unlike Psalm 78, the poet describes the Lord's goodness without mentioning Israel's history of rebellion (compare Psalm 106).
