  • Not all the religious leaders opposed Jesus. Joseph had disagreed with the decision of the council.

  • The exact location of Arimathea in Judea is unknown. It may have been Ramathaim, or Ramah, about 32 kilometers (20 miles) northwest of Jerusalem.
