Notes
return to the Almighty: Bildad and Zophar had already made a wrong application of this principle of the Bible (8:5–6; 11:13–14; Isaiah 55:6–7; Hosea 14:1–2; Zechariah 1:3; Acts 26:20). Now Eliphaz also makes a wrong application of it.
