Notes
Foreign armies had already surrounded the capital city. The attack was coming because the people rebelled against the Lord.
These verses focus on the kingdom of Judah and its capital, Jerusalem, in God's courtroom. The Lord declared he would judge Jerusalem through the Babylonians.
