English

Notes
it remains for some to enter His rest: Building on the discussion in Hebrews 4:3–5, the author will argue that the promised rest is still open (4:7–10). Those who wandered in the wilderness heard the good news that the promised land was open to them. They were not able to enter because they disobeyed God (see Numbers 14:1–25; Deuteronomy 1:19–46; Psalm 106).
