At the end of these days, from the eighth day on, the priests are to present your burnt offerings and peace offerings on the altar. Then I will accept you, declares the Lord GOD.’”

And when these days are expired, it shall be, that upon the eighth day, and so forward, the priests shall make your burnt offerings upon the altar, and your peace offerings; and I will accept you, saith the Lord God.

And are completed these days, and it shall come to pass on the eighth day and thereafter, that the priests shall make upon the altar your burnt offerings and your peace offerings, and will I accept you, a declaration of the Lord YHWH.’”

Notes
These sin offerings made the temple ready for holy use. The priests could once again sacrifice the burnt and peace offerings of the people. These offerings were necessary if the Lord were to accept his people.
