Whiles they see vanity unto thee, whiles they divine a lie unto thee, to bring thee upon the necks of them that are slain, of the wicked, whose day is come, when their iniquity shall have an end.

In seeing falsehood for you, in divining to you a lie, to put you on the necks of the wounded of the wicked, whose day has come, in the time of the iniquity of the end.

Ezekiel 21:28–29

The Ammonites should not have celebrated when Nebuchadnezzar chose to go to Jerusalem instead of Rabbah (Ezekiel 21:18–20). They were also among the wicked facing judgment day.

Ezekiel 21:1–32

This chapter repeatedly mentions a sword (Ezekiel 21:3–5, 9, 11–12, 14–16, 19, 28–30). Each time, the sword represents God’s judgment.
