Notes

you broke faith with Me: During the journey in the wilderness, Moses dishonored the Lord by striking a rock to get water. This act of impatience and anger prevented Moses from entering the promised land (Numbers 20:1–13; see Deuteronomy 1:37; 3:26–27).
