Notes

The Ancient of Days changed the course of the conflict when he judged in favor of his holy people. In God’s time, his people would receive the kingdom together with their King (Daniel 7:13–14).

Daniel requested and received more information about the fourth beast, the ten horns, and the little horn.

This chapter includes a frightening vision (Daniel 7:2–14) and its explanation (7:17–27). The order of kingdoms reminds us of Nebuchadnezzar’s dream about forty-five years earlier (Daniel 2:1–45).
