Notes

"Bad company corrupts good character": This quote comes from the Greek poet Menander, who lived in the 300s BC. Paul uses it as a warning not to follow or listen to people who teach what is false.

Paul argues for a future resurrection.

Some church members doubted a future resurrection of the dead. Paul reassures them and addresses their skeptical questions by discussing the nature of a resurrection body.
