Notes

The main message of the good news is the message of Christ's sacrificial death and resurrection (see 15:3–4; Romans 5:8–10; 6:5–11).

Paul summarizes the good news about Jesus he preached.

Some church members doubted a future resurrection of the dead. Paul reassures them and addresses their skeptical questions by discussing the nature of a resurrection body.
