  66. This is what the Lord GOD says: ‘Remove the turban, and take off the crown. Things will not remain as they are: Exalt the lowly and bring low the exalted.
  67. A ruin, a ruin, I will make it a ruin! And it will not be restored until the arrival of Him to whom it belongs, to whom I have assigned the right of judgment.’
  68. Therefore this is what the Lord GOD says: I will give the land of Egypt to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, who will carry off its wealth, seize its spoil, and remove its plunder. This will be the wages for his army.
  69. I have given him the land of Egypt as the reward for his labor, because it was done for Me, declares the Lord GOD.
  70. And the two kings, with their hearts bent on evil, will speak lies at the same table, but to no avail, for still the end will come at the appointed time.
  71. And now, brothers, I know that you acted in ignorance, as did your leaders.
  72. But in this way God has fulfilled what He foretold through all the prophets, saying that His Christ would suffer.
  73. So in the present case I advise you: Leave these men alone. Let them go! For if their purpose or endeavor is of human origin, it will fail.
  74. But if it is from God, you will not be able to stop them. You may even find yourselves fighting against God.”
