  1. But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,
  2. Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, outcry and slander, along with every form of malice.
  3. Be kind and tenderhearted to one another, forgiving each other just as in Christ God forgave you.
  4. But to those of you who will listen, I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you,
  5. And when you stand to pray, if you hold anything against another, forgive it, so that your Father in heaven will forgive your trespasses as well.”

  10. Jesus answered, “I tell you, not just seven times, but seventy-seven times!
  11. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
  12. “Be angry, yet do not sin.” Do not let the sun set upon your anger,
