These verses quote Habakkuk 2:3–4 to show the difference between the righteous and the wicked when they face God's judgment (see also Romans 1:17; Galatians 3:11).
After the harsh warning in Hebrews 10:26–31, there is a message of encouragement. The listeners are reminded of their past faithfulness as a positive example to follow now.
