I have confidence in you through the Lord, that ye will be none otherwise minded: but he that troubleth you shall bear his judgment, whosoever he be.

I am confident as to you in the Lord that you will have no other mind. But the one troubling you will bear the judgment, whoever he might be.

Notes

whoever he may be: Paul might not have known who the false teachers' were, or he might have thought their qualifications did not matter (compare 2:6).

troubling you: The false teaching distorted the good news, so Paul wrote to clarify their understanding.
