Therefore this is what the Lord GOD says: Because you have uttered vain words and seen false visions, I am against you, declares the Lord GOD.

Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Because ye have spoken vanity, and seen lies, therefore, behold, I am against you, saith the Lord God.

Therefore, thus says the Lord YHWH: Because you have spoken emptiness, and seen a lie, therefore behold, I am against you! An utterance of the Lord YHWH.

Notes

The false prophets wanted to protect themselves. But this desire would bring the opposite result.

Instead of being safe, they would be removed from the community. They would never return to their own land again.
