Epicurean
Epicureans, mentioned in Acts 17:18, were adherents of a philosophical school in ancient Greece that emphasized the pursuit of pleasure and the avoidance of pain.
The name Epicurean means “follower of Epicurus, i.e., of one who gives assistance”
