The fear of the Lord is not about being scared, but about deep respect and following his guidance (Job 28:28; Psalm 34:11–14; Proverbs 1:7). This leads to happiness (Proverbs 10:23).
King of nations: God is not just the Lord of one small nation; he rules the whole world. Jeremiah noted that no human-made god could claim that title, and even wise people do not deserve such respect.
