I am with you: God's promise of presence (see Isaiah 7:14) is central to the Bible. Because God is present, his people do not need to fear (see also Isaiah 43:1–2, 5).
I am your God: The Lord uses covenant language to affirm that he is their God and they are his people (see also Jeremiah 7:23; 31:1, 33; Ezekiel 14:11; 36:28; 37:27; Zechariah 8:8).
uphold you with My righteous right hand: The Lord uses language similar to the exodus (compare Exodus 15:6) to encourage Israel (see also Isaiah 41:13; 63:12).
