Genesis 2:25

both naked: Before the first humans disobeyed God (chapter 3), being naked showed innocence and trust. After this, it came to show vulnerability and shame (see 9:22–23; Leviticus 18:1–23; Isaiah 47:3). Shame is more than embarrassment. It can include being exposed, mistreated, or humiliated (see Deuteronomy 28:48; Isaiah 58:7; James 2:15–16).
