Galatians 1:1–5

In all his letters, Paul introduces himself and greets the recipients. This greeting stands out because:

  1. Paul strongly asserts his authority as an apostle (1:1).

  2. Instead of offering thanks, prayer, or praise, he gives a rebuke (1:6–10).
