adultery: This includes all sexual sins. Adultery clearly shows what it means to break trust or be unfaithful.
When a person commits adultery, that person seeks sexual pleasure outside of marriage and breaks trust with a spouse.
This command teaches faithfulness in marriage and purity in sexual behavior. Jesus later expanded this teaching in Matthew 5:27–30.
