ὑπο-δέω

[in LXX: 2 Chronicles 28:15, Ezekiel 16:10 (נָעַל) * ;]

to blind under, esp. of foot gear. Most frequently in mid, and pass. with accusative;

(a) of the foot, ὑποδησάμενοι τ. πόδας, your feet shod: Ephesians 6:15;

(b) of that which is put on, σανδάλια: Mark 6:9, Acts 12:8.
